hello everyone.I bought an used network space 500gb.the guy formatted it before selling to me so I had to do everthing described here and installed fdfw 9.0 and then updated to fdfw 11.
I can access to the configuration via http page and everything seems fine but the question is: where is the space? how can I access the 500gb space to start copying files to it?
thank you

Just open explorer on your windows pc and search network or in explorer type "\\ip-nas" (without the quotes and replacing ip-nas by the actual ip-address of your NAS. It should show the public folder and others that you created using the web interface

are there any shares defined ?
Go to file share menu of the web interface to check. Maybe this guy deleted al the shares to remove the data. Try to create a share and then try again if you see it in explorer

windows can have problems to find it if the NAS is not in the same workgroup as your windows PC
You can set the workgroup in the webinterface of the NAS, make it the same as the workgroup setting of your windows PC
