hello folks,

today i've installed fvdw 10-1 on my LNSvs1, because i had big problems when creating backups from my mac via time machine. i got it working but because of the lacking afp support i had other problems when creating TM backups. that's the reason why i'd like to go back to the original firmware.

before i did the firmware installation i dd'ed sd6 to sd9 to another disk. and now i rebuilt the original partition table by hand and dd'ed the 4 partitions back. but my LNS is not booting anymore.. i think i have to do some more things to get it working again!?

can anyone give me a hint what i have to do to get it working with the original firmware again?

i have it up and running again :-D

maybe somewhen it helps someone. here is what i did:
- not just rebuild the partition table from the fdisk cylinder view (which is printed in the guidelines), but find out the exact sizes of the images and recreate the partitions accordingly
- dd sda6-9 back and check for errors (no space left means, the partition was too small !!)
- mkfs.xfs /dev/sda2
- reconnect it with the lacie case and start the box
