I think I have a v1 LaCie Network Space (2008), but I have no inscriptions on that black box, nor on the electronic board...
How can I find version of my Network Space : 1 ou 2 ?

yes that is a nwsp1, you can find some more info on it for example here: http://lacie.nas-central.org/wiki/Categ ... work_Space

The pointy is that a nwsp1 has only 16MB of RAM (system memory) as such it can not handle to complex task at once or simultaneously.
So if you want to use it as NAS and have more then one user at same time performing different task the performance will drop...
In principle all features as present in the firmware work on the nwsp1 with exception of features like logitech media server and other add-ons

NWSP1 has only one USB port,
NWSP2 has two of them.(one in the front side and one on back side)
