In version 14-0 there will be support for webcam's. picture can be viewed in web interface but also directy from a port on the NAS.
It is based on package "motion" that also enable detection of movement (motion) in the picture and then can do an action.
For the moment only the basic setup is made but the intention is to develop it further

In principle all those that use the "uvc" driver. See a list here of devices that use it:
http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/But I also compiled kernel modules for other types. Those will not be standard loaded. Need to find a way to add them when necessary.

Nice feature! Now my Nwsp2 is not only a fileserver, download client, media server, backup server, ftp server and VPN server but also a security cam. What will be the next feature? Vacuum cleaning :-P ?
Works perfect with my 2 webcam though. One of them isn't supported anymore since Windows Vista, but it works flawlessly on the fvdw firmware ;)
