Can you make a plugin for http://cozy.io/
OwnCloud seems outdated and heavy.

Hi iamola,

I already wrote that the firmware implements its own cloud (WebDav) and currently it is the most efficient service. (But you can not handle contact, calendar or notes features).

We implement owncloud only because several members asked it several times and want to use it for sync feature.

Sorry but my first opinion, implement cozy cloud is not a priority.

Source files seem to be available only for Debian 6, Debian 7, Ubuntu 12.04 and Ubuntu 14.04.

OwnCloud seems to run slow on the CloudBox like it uses a lot of memory.
I also didn't like the fact that it couldn't connect to already created public file shares

Hi iamola,

if you want to use a cloud only to get access from everywhere : I repeat, repeat again...you need to use WebDav feature.

You are wrong you can do that. (add a samba share in your shared resources)

Just do a google search with "Webdav client smartphone free" ;) To install the client
(for example for android OS you can use this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.ddo.shigadroid.webdavfilemanager)
And in the web-interface, enable WebDav feature for the wanted shares.

Note: I advice you to enable also the "https" protocole with the web server (several clients do not accept to handle an access with a not encrypted connexion)

Hello there. If you are looking for a lightweight alternative to owncloud, you should have a look at [Cozy Light](http://cozy-labs.github.io/cozy-light/). There is less features than in Cozy, but it's easier to set up. It performs well too on cheap hardwares like the Raspberry Pi. About the features, you still have a calendar/contacts/files app. But there is no sync capabilities yet.
