Thanks both for speedy replies!

Can I just test whether I'm getting this right? Taking the two replies in combination, would I be right to conclude that if I bought the 2-bay model I would be able to load the fvdw firmware onto it, simply by following the instructions in this post posted on Apr 02, 2020 by fvdw?

Or would I need to have installed Debian on the Seagate P.C. first?

Hi

Not really, my post means :
Their uboot loads the kernel at the same address from the same location on the disk and according with clunc support, fvdw-sl console should be able to stop uboot

Anyhow the firmware will have to be patched to manage this seagate nas
