Help please with D2N2

I tried to install firmware through console 5.5
Everithing was ok during procedure. But after D2N2 become anaccessible.

When I tried to repeat procedure after /fvdw-sl-installer 192.168.1.252 output following:


step 1: check to make sure all dependencies are present on the server and nas:
Dialog: Present
mkdir: can't create directory '/usr/share/terminfo': File exists
mkdir: can't create directory '/usr/share/terminfo/x': File exists
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable
xterm installed
mke2fs-ext3 installed
gdisk installed
fdisk: device has more than 2^32 sectors, can't use all of them
diskid=/dev/sda
fdisk: device has more than 2^32 sectors, can't use all of them
mkdir: can't create directory 'sda5': File exists
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable
tftp: sendto: Network is unreachable

Installing default NAS database failed.

The script will exit, installation incomplete.

Please to check your firewall (maybe it blocks some apps)

=> Try to repeat all sequence (start fvdw-sl console,...) by disabling the firewall

Is standalone kernel file for D2N2 is UIMAGE-3142-NWSP2CL-KIRKWOOD-24-standalone?

Thank you. Everithing started now.

PS What kind of problem it was, when after successful end of procedure and after reboot /f, I lost connection with D2N2?

Same result. Web cant open 192.168.1.252

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I think you misundertand something.

192.168.1.252 is a temporary Ip address used by the standalone kernel. After rebooting, the NAS uses the standard kernel and its IP is set by the dhcp server of your router.

To discover this IP, use fvdw-sl assistant as written in the help.

Note: think to set your workgroup (lan setup menu) to see the samba shares on your LAN.

Everything working fine now!

PS I realy can't understand how Lacie sells production that dont working from box...
