Lacie D2 Network 2

Can I do something with this hardware in order to repair DLNA?

Curently my TV Samsung cant play most types of files from Lacie....

Hi Privateterkin,

Your Cpu is not enough powerful to support the transcoding. So even if with our firmware there are several DLNA servers (minidlna; twonky; mediatomb; logitech; Plex) you will still have the issue with your TV.

So you should make manual converting to fix your issue.

Thank you. I dont need transoding because my Samsung TV easily understand most video files? like Matroska and so on. From HomeMediaServer Samsung recives such files without transcoding. but from DLNA on Lacie there are problem...

Behind a same extension, there are several other conditions for playing a video from a DLNA streaming. The issue is on your TV. On my side, I will never buy a Samsung TV if I want to watch movies from DLNA server.
