Hi musafirrlail,

Yes you can...

As you need to do several previous steps, I created a new topic.

With our firmware, there is only one issue about the power switch (you need to use the web-interface to switch off the NAS)

So If you want to install fvdw-sl firmware, you need first to install version 15.1 as if it is a nwsp2:

What you mean with issue D2N2 just only can turn off though WebManagement and cannot apply turn off with physical swith on back D2N2?

Sorry my question very ugly :hammerhead :hammerhead

Looks like I have to ask permission at the elders who have this program and asked the magic word is FVDW

So, Next I've found you mean below here :

but I do not know exactly how to operate it, I try to open NWSP-2 but the results as shown above, Maybe you can be a little guide me regarding this

To use fvdw-sl console I advise to read carefully and fully the related topic.
You need also to read the install firmware help: many things are important and if you don't follow the guide you can get a bricked nas.
For example if you try to flash the uboot whereas it have to be done only with a classic nwsp2 Few weeks ago, a member has bricked his nas by doing this mistake!

About you first questions, I think all it says here :
fvdw wrote:To install it download the 3 rar files of the package of your choice (32bit or 64bits) and extract them in a directory of your choice where you want to install the fvdw-sl-console on your windows pc.
To start the program double click on the file with name "fvdw-sl-console.exe".
It will ask for password, for this version it is the number "33305"

well received ..

:scratch :scratch

What do you mean NWSP2 is network space 2?

How does the device D2N2? whether the concept of workmanship similar firmware between NWSP2 with D2N2? Because this time is right for me before starting execution is asked of any possible failure or previous experience to minimize the risk

Looks like I have a lot to see a preview of those who have a similar device that is D2N2 ... I became confused though application FVDW-sl-console I go to no insight to operate ..

:thinking :thinking

Yes nwsp2 means network space 2.

Currently fvdw-sl firmware is nearly the same for any LACIE NAS (same partition table, same files system). Initially Fvdw wrote the install script for nwsp2. But it can be used for this other Lacie platforms : just pretend to have a nwsp2 when you will run the script.

(For uboot it is other case: each nas has its own uboot program and it is why it is a nonsense to flash the uboot with a program dedicated to a nwsp2 whereas you don't have a nwsp2) So don't use this fvdw-sl console feature (and forget it) with your d2nw2.
