[ASK] Howto access SSH/Telnet on Lacie D2N2

My introduction maleeq from smallcity Indonesian, Enough and to the point of case :-D

What lacie D2N2 can be inject ssh features ? or access telnet to lacie ?

Because i think if NAS surely there are structure and then can to be access ..

Maybe any Advanced/Expert Pentest there are help answer about it ?

Hi musafirrlail,

You made the choice to re-install the Lacie firmware and it seems that there is not much way to get a root access.
According with nas.central site, only one method is referenced here : http://lacie.nas-central.org/wiki/Category:D2_Network_2 but can be outdated when you install an update capsule.

Maybe someone will give you a way to get a root access on the nas central forum.

Note: if you have installed our firmware you would not have this issue (same thing for btsync, media server,... ;) )

Exactly ! Fact I want same with you "Note" comment but I know for based way I must be create access to root so that I can inject more application into D2N2 ex: btsync, media server

From your "note" did you firmware can do this, I mean your firmware can stable inject to D2N2 ?

Can you tell / teac me a some step for success inject you firmware into D2N2 ?

I hope you can be explained if there is a mistake in my question.

With our firmware, you have a full root access so that you can do anything upto break your NAS :lmao
However please to note that there is no compile tools available.

About btsync, media server (minidlna, twonky, mediatomb, firefly and logitech) these ones are already included in the firmware.
