Hi, I cannot access web interface and fvdw-sl-assistant is not showing any device. Loading external kernel is possible. What to do now?

yep, I was using fvdw-sl console. After sucessful instalation, I typed "reboot -f" and... nothing happened. After hard restart situation is the same - it's booting (blue front led is blinking for a minute), I can see ip of my NAS while network scanning but web interface is not showing up.

if the nas has an ip then the fvdw-sl assistent should find it even when web server is not running
This makes me wonder if the nas has really got an ip
You could also try to connect to the ssh server using a client like putty (usr: root, password: giveit2me)
If that works we can see what causing that the webinterface doesn't work

You're right - I cannot obtain IP address. I did whole installation once again but results were the same - after completing all the steps, I reboot machine (I type a command and push the front button after couple of seconds). Then, I hear that NAS is booting (front button is blinking, it stops after a minute) - but network scanning shows nothing and rear leds are blinking. I'm using fvdw-sl-console-5-5-16-0-2-1-1jun2015-32bits and UIMAGE-26394-5BIG1-42-standalone. I have 5 drives inside, one of them is new, without lacie firmware.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Did you select when using the fvdw-s installer a ms-dos partition table to be used for making the system disk?
If you use gpt partition table then the nas won't boot as the bootloader of the 5big1 can not read gpt partitioned disk. You must use ms-dos as partition table

Yes, I'm pretty sure that I answered "No" to those questions during setup but I will do installation again to be 100% sure.
