Hi taetae,

The first step seems ok. I assume that the disks: sda,...,sde are your internal disks.

So what happens with the two other steps (plug usb and plug esata disk ?)

Indeed, I replied before you last edit...

So it seems that the script doesn't identify the USB disk as internal disk :thumbup
and for esata disks, the script identifies them as external esata disks :thumbup

All seems Ok :-D

You will be able to use the last version 15.1 but now you must wait fvdw for sending you the firmware image :whistle


Note: about your samba issue, do you still have the strange behavior after restarting the NAS ?

but could be a problem for microsoft?? something about samba?? if a colleague makes me a pleasure and brings me an apple try and see this little lot ... I thought .....

I will prepare the upgrade this evening taetae. I will even include a new compiled samba version. But I don't think that any thing is wrong with samba because nobody else seems to have this problem.

the 15-1 upgrade for 5big1 is available for download forum viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1750&p=13418#p13418

You can use the web interface to perfom the upgrade

:doh seems I made a last minute change in the kernel and forgot to update the upgrade package with a new file for kernel version. I Will make a new package
