Nas is working, but transfer only 8 - 9Mbit.
*******
Systemnamen Cloudbox
IP-Adresse: 192.168.178.241
Subnetzmaske 255.255.255.0
MAC-Adresse: 02:50:43:17:2D:27
Arbeitsgruppe: WORKGROUP
DDNS : nicht Aktiviert
Firmware Version: fvdw-sl 18.3 (cloudbox)
Kernel: Linux 4.14.133 #5 PREEMPT Thu Aug 10 15:38:37 CEST 2023
Datum: 29 April 2024, 19:49:40
Betriebszeit: 0 Tage, 01 Stunden, 27 Minuten, 04 Sekunden

Connect to router: 1000 Mbit.
Any hint for solution?
Under origin Software (lost / HHD failure) transfer 60 - 90 Mbit.

I get on my lan 45 MB for large files. When transferring small fil s of a a few MB then speed will go down because of writing file headers and info.
Ps I assume you mean MB and not Mb.(1 MB= 8 Mb)

FVDW:
Running a 1200MB file write on Y: 4 times...
Iteration 1: 28,08 MB/sec
Iteration 2: 27,74 MB/sec
Iteration 3: 28,02 MB/sec
Iteration 4: 28,06 MB/sec
-----------------------------
Average (W): 27,98 MB/sec
-----------------------------
Orig. Lacie:
Running warmup...
Running a 1200MB file write on Y: 4 times...
Iteration 1: 96,70 MB/sec
Iteration 2: 112,20 MB/sec
Iteration 3: 101,78 MB/sec
Iteration 4: 104,40 MB/sec
-----------------------------
Average (W): 103,77 MB/sec

I dont understand the difference?
I change only the HDD in cloudbox. Fault Drive: Seagate Barracuda 3TB, new Drive: Seagate IronWolf Pro 4TB.

Hi I listed speed on my seagate personal cloud, not lacie cloud, see here
https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3297&p=32865&hilit=Speed#p32865I checked the cloudbox subforum and 30 MB/s seems normal with our firmware on lacie cloudbox. The difference with lacie firmware could be that they use reiser filesystem instead of ext4 that we use for several reasons. Reiser uses less file overhead but ext4 is better to prevent file or data loss.

The Cloudbox is only use for temporary data. Data lost is in my case not the problem ( for important data i use a correct server).
If possible format the cloudbox in origin filesystem??
I can change FS under Linux myself, I'm just afraid of problems with your kernel

The kernel supports xfs and reiser filesystem. You could format sda8 in these formats but you will need to mount it manually after boot as the firmware will try to mount etx4.
