Wrong date and time - and auto reboot ?

Hello all,

Weird things on my Cloud box !!!

Today my box gives a date of January 1st 2018, and a time that is just the uptime since last reboot. Which seems to have been done this morning around 7:00 am !

So date is wrong, and time too, just as if :
1 . the Cloudbox didn't get time from the web, although the check for time is filled
2 . a boot automatically happens each morning (yeatserday I had the same date, and the day before, too)

For complete information :
. cron is off
. no boot job
. it seems it's release 18.2.3

What about the cron task you have set up as described in this topic https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3651&p=37688#p37662? You write now that cron is not active.

Good morning,

Thanks for the reply.

Forget the issue about reboot : I just forgot that I put a timer just for the server, instead of a few months ago where it was for the server AND the fiber box.

So now the fiber box is on 24/24 7/7.

So I disabled the cron you created and the CloudBox has a fiber box ON when it sarts.
But it seems that the CloudBox doesn't get the date and time from the web ! It's as if it wasn't connected but it is as I can use it !
I tried also to reactivate the cron, and the result is the same !

Thanks for you time and help.

Michel.

Which ntp servers do you use in setup of the web interface?

I use
Code: Select all
193.67.79.202
134.58.255.1

Good morning,

I have ntp.midway.ovh and ntp.ensma.fr, which seem to be working when I installed the cron at boot time.

I have input what you suggested, and yes, IT WORKS.

Gereat, thank you,

Michel
