Hi, i am facing issues when connecting to my NAS from windows 11 through samba v3

I have latest firmware, patch and updates.

I have enabled ftp, samba v4.10 and WebDAV

I can access the nas through my iPhone and my Mac but not with my desktop PC with windows 11

I go to My Computer, Network and click on Connect to network device, i add my IP and resource and not working, also when i write http:// or ftp:// it asks me for my user and password, but gives me an error. And on the log of FTP Server says that windows is sending empty password.

This is a windows issue, sometimes it helps if you define on the nas a user with same name as on your windows pc. Be aware tha linux running on the nas uses case sensitive names, so Paul is not same as paul.

I have tryed with another computer with Windows 10 in my home and the NAS is working perfectly, also the transfer speed is 75mb/s

So i think is something related to my Windows 11 computer, maybe i will downgrade to Windows 10.

Yes must be a windows 11 issue. I am still on windows 10 so I can't test it. Sorry

I have downgraded to Windows 10 and now it works on that computer.

I won´t install Windows 11 for now, thanks.

About windows 11, may be it is a similar case as windows 10 where unsecure guest login is not enabled by default over smbv2/3.

And about ftp, I advice to use in all case a ftp client like filezilla instead of to use file explorer which is not nice. Maybe it is your case.
I also see you tried to login with an empty password which is not allowed in our ftp server configuration (or it is a bad attempt from file explorer ?)
