Hi all,

i did donation yesterday and find some issie. Maybe someone have it also.
In samba share from web interface i create user and folder for him. When i try in Total Commander access folder it is not working. PUBLIC folder working all good but special folder for user with granted access is not working. Always asking for username and password, no mather of what i tried. Username and PASS are 100% typed well....

If i try open My Computer from WIN10 and than network, nas, special_folder than i type username and pass and all working good. i am in folder and can do anything.

But in total commander i cant even see what is inside folder.

I also try Samba 3x and 4x , none help.

Some issue... Any help pls?

I just tested TC on a win10 without issue (private or public shares)
I used version 32/64bits with samba4 on the nas.

So I think it is an issue on your side :scratch

Please to note with home version only one user account may be used by host to open a remote session

I also use total commander on windows 10 and have no problem to access shared folders on the nas.
Which version do you use of TC? (I use 8.51a)

Ps be aware that we use case sensitive user names and passwords

my TC is 8.0 , i also try 9.0 and some situation,
Pass is 100% right. i copy it from notepad just 4 sure.

I checked TC options and nothing here which may explain this behaviour.

However you may enable temporarily the log option and see what traces you get when you connect to a private share

I just fix the issue, i try to connect to the NAS by Double Commander. And he write me error "multiple connections to the same resource are not allowed"
i google it and find FIX : https://www.technipages.com/fix-multiple-connections-to-a-server-or-shared-resource-by-the-same-user-error

So i disconnect/delete all my connection to NAS and make one more time new, and IT WORKS NOW ;)

PS: work in Double Commander. and Total Commander. Works everywhere now :)
