Under Set up > Add-ons volume there is a chose for add-ons.
Do I need to do this?
Is it good to do?
I have just one disk and one volume.

Select a volume to install addons and technical shares :
   
   Move the technical shares on the new volume

Note:
After changing the volume, all add-ons and features requiring to create a share (eg cron with cronjobs share or transmission server with tr-daemon share), will no longer work.
You must either delete these shares and reinstall the server or move these shares on the new add-ons volume.

By choosing option 'Move the technical shares on the new volume', these servers will continue to function normally after selecting a new volume (no need to reboot the NAS).
Be aware that, depending on data volume the restoration can take a lot of time: from several minutes to several hours
