Hi, I just bought a 2TB Lacie CloudBox, it has the original firmware.
It happens that sometimes I try to copy information and lose the connection for a short time until it is restored, as if the computer was restarted.
I use Windows 10 1909 and enable the SMB1 client
I have read good references on alternative firmware and saw a tutorial to install version 16.1. Could directly install the latest current version (18.2)? And, are the same steps to install?

You should install directly 18-1, see this link https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3086and after that upgrade to 18-2 using webinterface
