Blue light Blinking

Hi, first i want to thank the plugout crew for their wonderful work.. many many thanks.

My lacie cloudbox 2tb stopped working last week. Ive got a solid red light and after reboot it just blinks the small blue led.
No network connection, i even try connecting eth to a ubuntu , creating a local network but no sucess so i guess disk just died.

So, probably i need to replace HDD, I havent opened yet so i dont know wich HDD should i start looking for.. ¿?.
I also dont have a pc to extract the HDD and plug to it, so im looking for an USB / SATA (SATA2¿?) adapter so i can do it via my laptop.

Questions:
What SATA does it support?
Will my data be erased (in case it is still there) after installing your amazing fw?
