What you could try is in linux make a folder and store the fvdw-sl-console with all its additional subfolders and files in it exactly as you would do on windows. Of course you cannot run the console under linux but as you seems to be able to upload a kernel via tftp you have a tftp server running and that should be able to upload the script fvdw-sl-programs or fvdw-sl-installer and run that on your nas. Your tftp server should remain active all the time and use the tftp folder of the fvdw-sl console as base folder.
When the standalone kernel is running, type
- Code: Select all
fvdw-sl-programs
on the command line. If your tftp server is setup correctly it will upload some binaries and a menu will popup letting you start the fvdw-sl-installer. Answer the questions in the dialog boxes. When install is successful reboot the nas using reboot -f command
Al depends on correct functioning of your tftp server and correct directory structure of the console.
