You can use the latest version of the fvdw-sl console to install the firmware on a new disk.
You can find the console in the download section of the forum. The latest version has firmware 17.0

I am confused on how to do that. I have my new hard drive, dont i have to install fvdw on the hard drive or does the Cloudbox host the OS itself and not the hard drive?
If i do have to install on the new drive, how do i do that with Cloudbox, only way to connect is through http connection.

With the fvdw-sl console you can do that, the fvdw-sl console runs on windows PC connected to your LAN as well as the cloudbox. The console detects the booting of the cloudbox and interupt it, then a special (standalone) kernel and mini linux system is uploaded by the console to the cloudbox and put in RAM memory. After that the cloudbox boots the kernel linux system from RAM memory and starts a telnet server that you can connect to. The console will start a telnet client to enable you to connect to the cloudbox. As said this special kernel runs in RAM so no need for a OS on the disk. Via the telnet server you can now install fvdw-sl firmware on the disk. (See help files in the fvdw-sl console). You can download the console in the firmware an download topic of this forum

Got it already. I forgot the install process lol.
Is there a way to setup the server to backup to another service, like google or something? Thats how i lost all my data on my first NAS thinking everything was safe. Literally lost important documents, keys, keystores etc. :(

Thanks Gecko.
