Unable to update firmare

Hello
I am unable to download and update the firmware for my White Cloudbox, through Dashboard. It gives a message: "Update search error". My current firmware is version 2.6.10.2, using an iMAC.
I would appreciate some guidance.

Seems you use lacie firmware, correct?

Hello, yes I am using the original firmware, version 2.6.10.2.

unfortunate not, as we developed our own alternative firmware our knowledge of the lacie firmwre is limited but we know it is not the best around and has some issue and limited possibilities. Thats why we developed fvdw-sl .
There is some info on the forum on various problems with the lacie firmware. This one however I diont remember to have seen before. But you could try a search.
If your cloudbox searches online for firmware on a lacie server it seems to me that this error means that the lacie server is offline or lacie doesn't supply updates anymore. or your nas has no connection to the internet.
