We have an experimental kernel based on linux 4.6.6 and that will increase reading speed considerably as it use hardware tso in the ethernet driver. Writing speed will be similar as current.
If you want to use I can sent to you. Be aware it is a test kernel it gives at max cpu load some warnings of which we think they can be ignored but we are not 100% sure.

well we tested ourselves and did not encounter data corruption only some warning in the system log.
These only come if you download files and at same time run several other programs so that cpu is utilized 100%
We try to verify his with the developers of the linux kernel but we do not get a final response yet
Yes there is roll back by installing the 3.14.2 kernel again

Hi kicsrules,

You can find version 4.3.3 on the development forum: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2345&p=22364#p22201.

Between version 4.3.3 and 4.6.6, there is no significant change on R/W transfer

Cool !

4.3.3. to me is rather good but I appreciate a trial with 4.6.6.
What is your concern about 4.3.3. and what is the improvement on the new release ?
