[Solved] WebDav access: password is out of date
I'm having an hard time to connect to my webdav share.
While on windows I tried using the map network drive feature built-in the file explorer.
I entered the remote folder as https://nas_dydns/sharename, I checked the Connect with different credentials box and after entering the username\password which have permission access to the share I get an alert popup saying:
I've also tried using the Cyberduck software which the same result (different error name, but it is always about the handshake)
Googling brought me to this page and this ticket.
The clients (windows's file explorer\cyberduck) were set up to use SSL on port 443 which is also opened and properly forwarded in the nas's router settings.
The NAS fvdw firmware is setup as follow:
System Management->Web Server:
- Enable connexion over TLS/SSL protocol is active
- The TLS/SSL certificate (clicking Edit TLS/SSL certificate) is setup as follow:
-- Domain Name: the dydns registered domain name
-- Information: "NONE" (I literally wrote NONE)
-- Other information: blank
-- Town: blank
-- State/Land: blank
-- Country: "IT"
-- Email: blank
-- Validity: Apr 23 08:47:06 2016 GMT - Apr 23 08:47:06 2018 GM
The share I'm trying to access is set as Private and my user has full access, the share is listed and have a tick in the WebDav settings panel. The WebDav server has been restarted to apply changes.
I've also tried to download and install into windows the ca certificate from the NAS admin panel unsuccessfully.
What's wrong in the nas setup or the client configuration? :fists :thinking
EDIT:
I'm able to remotely login into the admin configuration panel via https.
