Hi all,
First of all thanks everybody for contributing in this forum, there is some really good information in here.
I have a Lacie Cloudbox and it seems to be unable to boot, the blue led keeps flashing, so i decided to write the fvdw firmware on it, im sure there is something im missing cause it doesn´t work, i will explain my steps to see if somebody is able to see what im doing wrong. I tooked the drive out connected and deleted all the partitions on there, after this i put it back in my lacie case and started to flash the firm with the console, all looked fine until it comes to the last step, writing to sda7 its fine but when it started to clean it crashes with an error saying it is unable to create directory on sda7. Do i need to create this directory before i start to flash? I would appreciate if somebody could help me out.

Hi aolmaster,
What fvdw-sl console version do you use ?
First check is the partition table of your disk:
- open a telnet window (with Action "Telnet window")
- post the output of
- Code: Select all
gdisk -l /dev/sda
(I assume that you set a gpt table )

Other point:
Please to keep a clean account : do not use IP known as spam Ip address (ex. 207.244.78.182) or unvalid email address as ...@*rentacar.com) :whistle

Well I thought to have been clear :
Do not use unvalid address as in this case you will never receive an email. You did it with the first attempt and also today.
Do not use Ip stamped as spam IP address (so connect via leaseWeb service which has an IP 207.244.78.182).

So you use a grey listing mechanism on your side and phpBB fails on it.
