Postby iamola » Wed Oct 22, 2014 4:43 am

For some reason i can never turn on Web Explorer.
I have added shares to it and linked it to an account and it still would not turn on when i save it.

What could be wrong?

Hi iamola,

Seems to be the usual behaviour if you set no web-explorer user account.

Note: the administrator login is a supra-account after authentication to get administrator permissions for the used web-explorer user account .

So if you don't set an user account and try to start the web-explorer, the firmware aborts the enable command.

Hi Iamola,

So if I understand you, you succeed to login with an web-explorer account and the web-explorer interface is loaded. But you don't succeed to grant admin permissions when you use the admin login (Administrator Login menu)?In help page:
This account allows you to change the Web-Explorer settings from its web-interface, You don't log directly with it in web-explorer. Before, you must use an user account to get an access and then use this admin account to get full permissions.

The default account is (remember to personalize it!):
login = "adminWE"
pwd = "give2admin"

After admin authentication, what is the reported status?

You can also try to change the adminan pwd login from the web-explorer menu in the fvdw-sl web-interface
