Hi gays

As the subject says, my original disk is dead, I bought another
I can install this firmware on the new hard drive?
I have to perform some task prior to installing the new firmware? (format, partition)
The installation manual mentions IP address 192.168.0.X and 192.168.1.X
But only the board NAS, you can get an ip? No operating system having?
I have the MAC of this board, also can assign an IP to the MAC in my dhcp server, but I see you get an ip.

Forgive many doubts

Thanks in advance

You can use the first time install for cloudbox (using the fvdw-sl console) viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1867#p14939

As you could read on this forum, there is no known way to restore the Lacie firmware on an empty disk with Coudbox platform.

So as previously posted all is explained in the topic https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2691
So read carefully it and the help pages provided with fvdw-sl console.

Hi
I am french and a noob
But my Lacie Cloudbox with a new HDD Samsung 1Tb works again, new life for him... :hail

For this result, only the Fvdw-sl firmware 16.1 version are runinng well on Windows 7 (curiously don't finish the job on my Windows 10).
Others version (i try 3 others and burn 15 hours of time) don't finish the complete config.
I use only the Action "Install fvdw-sl firmware" on the "fvdw-sl-console.exe" (password 33305), choice the "UIMAGE-3142-KIRKWOOD-150-standalone" and GO
Just read well the instruction on "fvdw-sl-console.exe" windows.

Many thank for the developpers and this fabulous works ! Thank guys :applause

What do you exactly mean with "don't finish config".
Version 17-0 should install just fine on windows 10 assuming you use fvdw-sl console and have fire wall settings to allow access, and do not use wireless connection between pc and LAN. :scratch (I use windows 10 and see no problems)
Anyhow you could use upgrade via webinterface from version 16-1 to version 17-0
