Thanks, Is it possible to install the firmware fvdw-sl version 17 in one new hard disc or I have to install the version 15 and to update it?

You can install 17-0 right away when using the fvdw-sl console.

At the end .. I got it...I uploaded the patch for donator users and I created a new user but after closing my session y can´t enter again


EDIT:I have reinstalled the firmware... :thinking ..let me see if I can let it work now..

Anyhow I noticed you made several attempts to install version 17.0 before installing the patch (so they failed) and after with the patch. They failed also. I think it is your previous attempts and then a captcha challenge was required.

I deleted all your attempts in our sql database and you should be able now to install again the firmware by using the firmware interface

After installieg the firmware..I access to the nas with the name admin -nas , password admin
1:Can´t I change the name and the password?
2:Shouldn´t I create a new user with my name here to download the addons and to update after installing the last patch?...
2.1.:I have instaled the last patch using the fvwl console...i explore my nas and I copy the patch there of this way i can upload it to the nas..correct?

About your questions :
1- currently you can change only the password for admin-nas. On the board, you will find a trick to change also the login. This one won't work on next version ( you will be able to do it directly from the web-interface)
2- I think I answered with my previous post ( so no you do not need to create a such user)
2.1 it is not the right way. if you have created the share fvdw, store here directly the patch from your laptop (win10) and then select the file from the upload menu

Note: as you have win10, you need to enable smb1 protocol to see the nas shares from your laptop. On next fw version, you will be able to install samba version 4.9 and then to use smb3

With your last attempt (23:51), I can confirm the last rollup patch is not installed or badly installed

Be careful, you misunderstood something !

At 23:51, you did not installed the patch but later at 23:56 you succeeded to re-install version 17.0 with the patch.

But then you have to re-install the patch after a new firmware upgrade. It is why your last attempts failed again (00:01)

Ok...i just tried to upload my firmware but I guess that´s the last one..however the assistant let me install it again and I lost my patch...
Well after all, i have installed the patch ..I guess succesfully..because i am using transmission now...

edit: Just one thing..i use now windows 10 but i have virtualized in my macbook pro..

Can I use the web interface in my Mac?????
