How to flush DNS cache?

How to flush DNS cache?

Postby Cubytus » Sun Apr 23, 2023 4:38 pm

hi there,

one of my (OpenWRT) routers recently got "poisoned" with rogue DNS entries. Sadly I have no logs of this and no time to analyse them even if I did. Since it may have propagated to other connected devices in the LAN, I'd like to know how to purge DNS cache in fvdw. Instructions for more common Linux distros don't work for fvdw.

All without killing my LaCie's great uptime ;)

Hi

Our firmware does not use a DNS cache and this is done only at your router level if you set manually the router as your DNS provider for the nas (LAN setup menu)
