Postby ferrevsei » Wed Sep 06, 2017 6:57 pm

Hello:

someone please could give me some help, I just update the firmware to 17.0 and occasionally, from time to time disconnect the web console and tell me this message when I try to reconnect:

"Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_c72f648cbda3feec1051de3345c01edc, O_RDWR) failed: Read-only file system (30) in /usr/htdocs/home.hm on line 2 Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /usr/htdocs/home.hm:2) in /usr/htdocs/home.hm on line 2 "

and I'm forced to turn the NAS off and on again

can someone help me?¿

This, in combination with your previous post about inability to write on a share, makes me think you have a hardware problem.

According to this message the webinterface stores it's sessions in /tmp, and after some time that directory happens to be read-only.

In most cases Linux will remount a filesystem readonly, when a corruption is detected, to prevent for more damage. Nornally on a reboot fsck runs to repair the corruption, and everything works again.

Now you can reproduce the problem, which means either fsck isn't executed, or the corruption is growing. That could be the result of a dying disk.
And I think /tmp is on a different partition/filesystem as your shares are, which means the problem is broader than a single filesystem.

So backup your precious data as long as it's still readable.

To be more sure you can login over ssh, and have a look with 'dmesg'. This gives the kernel logs, and hardware errors on the disk (I/O errors) are logged here.

Hello, Thank you very much for your answer, I will review what you tell me to see that is what I encounter.

Every time I turn the NASH off and on, let me access it so that it is still possible to back it up.
