Plex \ Python

Plex \ Python

Postby wrumph » Sun Feb 08, 2015 3:18 am

I noticed the release notes show plex as an optional media server. I don't see it as an option under media servers. Can you point me in the right direction?

What I'm really wanting is python. I didn't know if Plex included python so I don't want to install something twice. Should I just install the Python addon?

Hi wrumph,

You find all detail here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1999#p16576

Note: python addon is also installed when you install pms.

Hi wrumph

Indeed as owncloud, we add support for Plex mediaserver for version 16.0. This doesn't mean that plex mediaserver is included in version 16.0, but pms installation is preserved when you change some firmware settings such as addons volume or proxy features...
