this means that the firmware file was not transported via tftp from your windows PC running the fvdw-sl console to the nas

Do you use a wireless connection from your pc to the router ?, if so use a wired connection and repeat the process. We have seen problems with transferring files when using a wireless connection. Especially the firmware image file is relative large. if a drop occurs in the transfer the file will not be stored.
You should have seen that just before the messages comes that you posted

My friend, Thanks for clearing things out.. I have managed to installed the firmware after you told me where the problem was.

Im facing another problem which is that Cannot access the Shared Drives on windows or mac, the CloudBox is discovered but when i ever i try entering any of the usernames created by default or i created, it gives me access denied.

that is a ms windows issue, by deafult windows uses as username/password the one you used to login to windows and then used to access nas (samba) shares.
So if that windows username/password doesn't match with used on the nas you get this authentication window. If you make a network connection in windows (assigning a remote folder to a drive letter) you can set to use a different username/password.
