Hi Team,
i have on my NAS the last one versione 18.2

i can see now that i can acttive the Samba versione 4.x, in this way i will fix the issue with windows 10 to reach teh folder share.
But when i try to active, exit a error, in red, and then enable not the new version and leave the 3.x

There is some particular operaconfiguration to do to active ver. 4.x?

so, after create my credential on the firmware update, i need to run again upgrade firmware, or simple going in the menu, change samba version (where in automatic will be downlaod)?

Indeed you just need to select samba4 as version and the firmware will download it automatically.

(on next fw upgrade from the version 18.2, the firmware will reinstall samba4)

today i have follow the your procedure, but fail.
when i try to add my user account Plugut, how describe in the procedure , i have a error, show near the word STATE OF SYSTEMY:

impossible update the field :__FILE__, hwclock -w -u, err= 1

How can i fix?

You have an issue on the hardware clock.

At each fw upgrade, you will need to repeat it
