Indeed this will help.

It is a good new, you have a ARM cpu : Feroceon 88f6282
http://www.marvell.com.cn/embedded-processors/kirkwood/assets/88f6282-3_pb.pdf

Then it is a kirkwood modele. So definitively it is not a 2bigv1 but also not a 2big2 : not the same cpu

So maybe fvdw will be able to build a kernel version for it and then install our firmware (for lacie firmware only installation by using NAND flash was possible but it seems that fails on your nas) :scratch

This seems to be a 2big thunderbolt
Need to check if our kernel tree supports a 6282 cpu.
The 2big vs2 has a 6281 cpu. Most difficult part will be to find out gpio pin setup

Do not know if it is useful for you kernel searches but I think it is not a 2big nas thunderbolt. This version does not have an esata port on the rear side.

Don’t worry and thanks again meantime.
I can assure you though that it might have the same cpu of the Thunderbolt one but immune isn’t! It’s a nas, with 1 esata, 1 rj, 1 usb.

If you need something don’t hesitate to ask me!

Maybe useful for later Internet searches
I found the official name of the NAS : 2big nas review or 2big nas v2 review (what explains the name of the PCB: 2big nas V2R).
Produce code is 9000226 (and 2000345 diskless version)

Hi pansa88

Currently nothing

For other tests you need to wait fvdw and hope he succeeds to get a kernel for your NAS.

But at least you can re-assemble your nas.
