2big network with 2 hds new and clean

Good afternoon. I put two 2TB hard drives to nas and does nothing. Not detected. Default hard drives were 1 TB. No longer do I have.
I have seen that you have to put the image of Lacie hard drives for linux to boot.
I've seen several tutorials but I clarified. Does anyone could help me step by step to make it work again?
I have not much idea of Linux. Is there a tutorial for newbies?

If you wanrt to install our firmware is easy. Just put 1 diks in slot 1 and follow the procedure here
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1476#p10741The install is done using the fvdw-sl console running under ms windows.
If any question or difficulty to complte this procedure please let us know
(To install lacie firmware is another question, for that we can give little support as we don't use it any more :mrgreen: )

Good morning. The software asks for the IP address of the nas. The nas ip or not I do not I can see.
I download: xfvdw-sl-15-0-nwsp2-28sep2013.zip [62.81 MiB] & FVDW-SL-CONSOLE-DOWNLOAD
When in run FVDW-SL....What do I have to do? The puts a Ip address and appear different options. I do not know what to choose.

It doesn't ask for the IP address of the nas, it asks which address it should assign during the console session. This address should be in the same subnet as the PC, and there should be no other device with the same address in your network.

I'm in the same case, so a 2big network 2 with new HDD.
I run the soft fvdw-sl-console, action, write fvdw...to disk, select UIMAGE-26394-NWSP2CL-STANDALONE-164, cluch software launch, I start the nas with one disk, see the upload of the file, telnet client open, but he never found the NAS.
What can I Do?

problem solved, this come from my router, because a use a 192.168.10.x range, I have try with another router in 192.168.1.x and everithing work fine :)

Do you know if I can shutdown my nas (yes I can do that) with cron, and mainly start it again at my backup time?
So I backup my server between 21 and 23, can I start my nas à 20.50 with cron?
