Hi what was your speed before the upgrade to 18-2 ?
And does it concern many small files (few MB) or big files (few hundred MB) ?
The standard samba version (3.0.37) included in18-2 is same as in previous version and you should get similar performance then before upgrade.
Samba 4 will improve speed but in case of many small files it still will be lower then with big files due to extra IO needed for file headers.
We received your donation, thank you and we added you to the donators group so you can nstall addons.

Hi the speed for transfert was about 20mb per sec and I don't know why but the speed has going down to 4 mb per sec maximum. I have another NAS switch samba 1 and it still working at the same speed that before. I'm using vidéo files 300mb and between 4 and 8gb.

Hi everyone, I've solved the problem just because I had issues on my RJ45 cables. I've bought some new cables and it's working better now.
Bye
