Hello,

After installing the version 16.1 and configuring the RAID 5, I have an other issue.

I try to access to my NAS accross Samba protocol from Windows computer (\\192.168.0.192\ in the address bar of the explorer).
But it failed, my explorer can't access to this resource.

In the system manager, I see the samba server running.
I use telnet to see if the port 139 and 445 is listening in the NAS, all is fine.
From the web explorer, I see my share, and I can create a folder, rename it, but I can't upload (plugin missing ?)

So, what do you think I can try to access to my NAS by SMB ?

thanks guys, Regards.

Hi h.ancher,

This is amazing.Usually we have some inverse feedbacks : where the user can not access if he uses nas name instead of its NAS IP.

This because the user forgot to set the workgroup in the LAN setup menu (it must be the same than his laptop's workgroup). So check this point.

Otherwise, do you have set at least a share ? The default public share exists no longer after building the RAID. So you need to set a new one.

Yes, I specify the workgroup, and I have a share named "test" in my volume "RD-5".

In the network item in my Windows explorer, I see my NAS (his is name is A2I-NAS).

When I try to navigate in it, I have the error 0x80070035.
I try all I find in the Web (NetBIOS setting, Secure Negociate, check if the Netbios service is running...)

NEW INFO : It doesn't work ONLY in my computer, in other computer, it work fine...

So don't worry, I will use an other computer.

Regards.
