Drive fail then shares gone Lacie 5Big Network 2

Hello,

Similar to other people -- Lacie is running an art class with Macs. We had a drive fail in a RAID5 then the shares went offline a few days later, just before we got replacement drive.

Still shows space used on the system, and rebuild continues to 100% then gets an error and has to be rebooted.

Would like to recover data. Have read through directions several times but still must be having trouble. FVDV-SL console 5.5 installed and firewall disabled on workstation. Drive does not boot -- says waiting for u-boot.

Any thoughts -- it is on same (large) subnet.

what is dhcp ip pool of the router and subset mask setting?

Do you use a wireless connection between workstation and router ?
