ok I understand.
--edit fault in filename taken out

Then after firmware installation script is completed enter in the telnet client
Code: Select all
tftp -r UIMAGE-26394-NWSP2CL-106 -l UIMAGE-26394-NWSP2CL-106 -g ip-pc

replace ip-pc by actual ip address of your pc
Then write it to sda6
Code: Select all
 dd if=UIMAGE-26394-NWSP2CL-106 of=/dev/sda6

If thats done reboot
Code: Select all
reboot -f

and see if you can access the nas with fvdw-sl webinterface

Sometimes telnet react to quickly and kernel is not yet fully loaded and telnet not yet running
did you try then to connect by using the connect drop down menu of the telnet window, choosing the remote system tab and giving 192.168.1.252 as ip and click ok button

Be careful, you mention in several post you use kernel 102.

Fvdw says you to use the kernel 106

did you already install the firmware ?

writing the 106 kernel we will do after the script has run to install the firmware, follw the instructions mentioned in the fvdw-sl console for installing the firmware but do not close the telnet window when the installation script has finished only then perform the 106 kernel commands

in which folder is the 106 kernel ? it must be in the tftp directory of the fvdw-sl-console
