her it is extract the zip file and put rcS-new-2 in tftp folder of the fvdw-sl console
assume /dev/sda7 is still mounted
Code: Select all
mv /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS-new-old
tftp -r rcS-new-2 -l /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS -g ip-of-your-pc
chmod 777 /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS

after that umout /sda7 and reboot the nas and see if you can detect the nas with the fixed ip 192.168.0.188

Here:
Code: Select all
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # mv /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS-new-old
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # tftp -r rcS-new-2 -l /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS -g 192.168.0.177
rcS-new-2            100% |***********************************************************************************|  8643   0:00:00 ETA
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # chmod 777 /sda7/etc/init.d/rcS
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # umount sda7
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # reboot -f
