LaCie 5big network 2 upgrade capsule for 2.2.3

Firstly, my thanks to all that helped me get this restoring firmware issues worked out... life is a lot easier since I have got this procedure down...

I have one raid that is being a bugger, it is 2.2.3, but when I try to upgrade 2.2.12.2 it fails, and informs me I need to put 2.2.3 first... does anyone have a Lacie 2.2.3 capsule file for the 5big Network 2???, I am just guessing...the raid runs ok otherwise...

didn't understand: when your device runs on 2.2.3 - why would you ask on update to install 2.2.3?
The 2.2.3-capsule seems to be a "Fata Morgana" - I've collected a lot of material from LaCie for the 5big2, but never ever had a 2.2.3 - I believe, this version was delivered with early 5big vs.2 (because my device runs at first w. this version as yours!) - can only find a 2.2.3 for vs. 1.

In my collection there are the original capsules 2.2.8 and 2.2.12.2, additional the files from 2.2.9 (sda6.gz, sda6.txz, sda7.txz)
So maybe it's an opportunity to rebuild yours, if you are interested I can put the 2.2.8 on MEGA for download.

Unfortunately, I encountered the same problem: I updated from 2.2.3 to 2.2.12.2 and the NAS died.
It seems to be trying to boot from disk 1 (it blinks the disk light slightly and then freezes), but that's it. The front button and the power switch are not working. It's not detected on the network.
I tried restoring the firmware from this message, but nothing changes. Most likely, the contents of /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda7 don't match firmware 2.2.12.2.

If you don't mind, could you share the actual contents of the /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda7 partitions? :please
