How to fix hardware clock problem and repair power supply

After encountering issues with __FILE__, hwclock -w -u, and err = 1, I started researching how to fix them. Here’s some advice that might help if you’re dealing with the same problem.

I also had trouble with capacitors. I found someone with a similar issue who replaced them:

I replaced mine as well, but the issue persisted. I initially thought fixing the hardware clock (HW CLOCK) would solve everything, but unfortunately, I kept getting the same error after replacing the capacitor.

Then I realized that the person also replaced the 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. After researching further, I discovered that this tiny component is actually responsible for keeping time, while the capacitor functions more like a "battery" in this case.

I replaced the oscillator, and voilà—everything started working perfectly! :)

Hope this helps someone.

P.S. Be careful when soldering; these parts are quite small! ;)
