Hi there!

I have been using and upgrading the fvdw-sl firmwares for over a year now without any problem.
Unfortunately my son pull out the power cable from socket by accident and when he put it back the ns2 looks stacked.
During power up, I can hear some hard disk spinning, some minor blinking and that's all. Blue light always on. No connection with dhcp server. On router's interface looks like its IP is 0.0.0.0 (It had a static ip when it was ... alive).
I dont remember last firmware, possibly it was 12.1
I have pressed power button for more than 10 seconds, nothing happens

Any help please. I hate to make a clean install again.

Thanks ab front

Looks not good. If the led is not blinking with disk activity it means that it doesn't boot probably because of of corrupt file.
Most like the nas database itself, or less likely a critical script on the system partition, or even less likely disk failure.
If the power was cut during writing to the disk this might happen

If thats the case then reinstalling it is the only option.

The database is on partition sda5
If the sytem partition has gone corrupt then you need to write the disk image again to sda1,sd2 and sda7

To do that will take no more then 15 minutes

be aware that when you put back the default database that all settings you made will be lost. Your shared folders will not be lost but you will have to redefine all them again in the web interface to become visible again
