Folders own by "root"

I have some pritate folders/files in the tr-downloads folder that are owned by user "root".
Haw do i delete those folders?
Whats the password for user "root" ?

that must be files you saved with an older fvdw-sl version. In the latest firmware this is changed and new files should be possible to delte in the normal way.

To delete the older ones you will need to access the spd8020 via ssh (putty or winscp) assume you use Putty.
login with username "root" (without the quotes) and password: " giveit2me" (without quotes and assuming you did not changed the default password.

Now you get a command prompt. give the command

chmod -R 777 -R /share/1000/tr-downloads/*

after this you should be able to delete them in explorer
