I updated my LaCie Network Space vs2 (lite) from 12-1 to 13 using the firmware update menu method.

Now I need some time to check all new the features.
Thank you for your great work

Werner

I have just updated my NS vs2 (non-lite) from 12 to 12-1 to 13, and now I'm not able to launch any Torrent client or Media Server, for all of their (besides Oxylbox) pages appears just
"Name - Status - server is not running/installed (depending on the server)"
But nothing of the other options that should appear bellow are appearing.

Hi lapasta

As other members succeeded to update their nas, I assume that you don't close your browser (all windows) after upgrading.

Here the remark in the help page :
Close your browser first and start it up again, this to clear the caches of the browser.
if you don't do that then the web interface will not work properly as the browser uses parts from the previous version that are still in cache.

I'm having the same problem.
It worked fine for me initially as I remember being able to see the config for MiniDLNA but I can no longer get at the config for any media server.
My torrent clients are not available either. Though I believe they are if I point a browser at the port directly. I can't check this currently as I'm not at home.

So, to understand what happens, we need some more information...(because I repeat with other nwsp2 all works well).

- Thank to send a screenshot
- What browser do you use ?
- What language is used by the webinterface ?
- Check again if there is no other browser windows opened : download window, help window, option windows ...
- when you start again the browser, did it ask you to authentify you again ? and what login do you use ?

Here is a screenshot:

When I took this screenshot I was using Safari, but I have also tried Chrome and it is just the same (I'm on a Mac).
Webinterface is in english, I have restarted the browser several times. In general it does not asks me to authetify again, but I did logout a couple of times to see if it would solve the problem (and it didn't)

Sorry for the delay!

PS: If I SSH into the NAS I can start the daemons (by using the scripts on /etc). The screen on the webinterface changes from "server is not running" to "server is running", but that's the only change.

Well, nevermind, I just saw the patch, and that it applies both for Safari and Chrome...

Hi lapasta,

Thank in advance for posting feedback about Safari.

Note : Safari doesn't support background style with some objects like droplist.
