Hi fraumo

Just a suggestion.
Do you note : before uploading, you must uncrompress the zip file. Then, you have to upload the bin file.

In this case, I think the zip file is corrupted.

=> try to download it again

=> I note also in the past some trouble with zip apply.
So save the zip file to fvdw share and use winrar or 7z.... to unzip it.

Hum

I propose that you make a test. Do this :

create a folder in fvdw (eg test)
copy the bin file in the folder test

open a putty console and do
Code: Select all
cd /share/1000/fvdw/test
tar -xvjpf xfvdw-sl-12-0-nwsp2-20mar2012.bin

and post us the output

Ok fraumo,

See this post http://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=340#p2070

Download the putty and install it on your PC.

To get a SSH access, if you have not change the default settings, you must use this login : root and pwd : giveit2me

You can find a short help about the putty settins in this site : http://webmaster.iu.edu/tool_guide_info ... utty.shtml (of course you must change the hostname 'webserve.iu.edu' by the ip address of your NAS.

Note : when you use putty, you are a root user!! :o
So do exactly what I said in my previous post
