Is there any news about firmware 12-0?
I don't have access to a linux machine, and can therefor not install the firmware on my Lacie Network Space 2 (I read that it will be possible to install the firmware in a web interface i version 12-0).

Hi Paros,

The release of fvdw-sl 12.0 is scheduled for late March. (Development is almost complete ...)

However, if you have not yet installed a previous version (9.0 or upper) you can not update the firmware using the web interface.

For initial installation, you must remove the HDD from the casing for this first time install and connected to a PC running Linux, but next firmware upgrades can be done via the web interface of the fvdw-sl firmware.(http://www.plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=336#p2043). If you do not have a linux machine you can use a bootable CD (see http://www.plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=69#p217).

(You also need a USB SATA controller to connect your HDD to PC or plug it into your PC !)

OpenVPN would be fantastic (for example when using the torrent client).

Why use OpenVPN with a torrent client?

I understand the utility ofa VPN to connect two independent sites into one network with a secure tunnel SSL and it may be interesting to implement it in the NAS but what need with a torrent client.

---Edit----
I understand you want only a client openVPN for anonymous download
