Hi fvdw, hi Jocko,
long time no see :)
I just managed to update to FW 18.3 without any issues. Important to know was the patch for plugout.net access before the 18.3 update process.
I'm wondering why there's still no SMB3 support. Right?
My W10 shows the Fritzbox and my OMV NAS in the explorer app wo. any issues.
An allocation to a network drive with drive letter works ok.
Do you have any hint?

Hi wd9895
If I remember well it is your ISP box which does not support smb3. So only a firmware upgrade of your box can change that for USB drive plugged in your ISP box. On NAS side, with samba 4 you have smb3 support

Hi Jocko,
Samba 4 on Lacie 2 classic is enabled and my ISP box (Fritzbox 7590) is acapable of SMB3. In my network a Pi4 operating with Openmediavault works perfectly and is visible in Windows Explorer unter "Network".
Why does Lacie not appear?

If you did not use a domain, check if you have the same WORKGROUP on your laptop and the one set on the NAS. If not change the default workgroup on the NAS which is WORKGROUP

The workgroup is "HOME" on all my network devices and all work except the Lacie drive.

I think you have to look at who is the master browser in your LAN and find out why it doesn't add the lacie to the network list. I assume you know what the master browser is, if not there is a lot of info about it on the internet.
---edit
You have to enable smb1 protocol on the nas as wel even if you are using smb4. For file transfer smb2 or 3 is used but for discovery in network neighbourhood windows uses smb1 protocol
In the picture you posted I see that it is not enabled
