Can't find the NWSP on the network anymore

Can't find the NWSP on the network anymore

Postby favroom » Mon Jan 18, 2016 8:31 pm

After a power cut I can't find the NWSP anymore.

LED on the front is blue. LEDs on the NIC are both on. Right one is blinking...

I tried to find the NAS with the fvdw-sl-assistant and by running a ping sweep on the network.

Any other ideas to reconnect to the NAS without having to open it?

Thanks!

Jocko,

I have a V2. Does that give me more options?

I guess you were fooled by my signature... I have changed it:)

Ok with a nwsp2 you can use fvdw-sl console to get a telnet terminal.

Then
1/ mount sda7
Code: Select all
mkdir sda7
mount /dev/sda7
read the file /sda7/boot.log (it must be short)

2/ mount the chrooted partition
- in /sda7/lacie-boot, you should have a file sdaxboot (x=1 or 2)
Code: Select all
ls /sda7/lacie-boot

- according to x value do
Code: Select all
mkdir sdax
mount /dev/sdax
and read the file /sdax/boot.log (it must be long)
