Re: Reset to fvdw default

Firstly congrats to Jocko and fvdw on a fine job done for these Lacie products.
This is the first time I have seem functionality so solid on a NAS.
It says something when users abandon the vendor firmware in favour of a user developed 'OS'
However, so sorry to have to bring this post back to life, but its description is precisely what I want to do... I think.
I have a NS2 with 15.2
I have changed the internal disk to 2TB
- All running fine
I attached a powered USB 2.0 hub.
To this I have added a lot of stuff (Maybe too much!)
2x Seagate USB HDD (1x1TB & 1x2TB)
WebCam USB 2.0 (V. Cheap ebay)
... I also use the USB powered ports to charge iPhone and Android Tablet.
All devices function well.
Except the WebCam which Motion cannot recognise.
It did work once after I uploaded some ko files via the USB upload feature.
But now I get 'Unable to open video device'
Here is the text from the USB list feature:
The last line of this text seems to imply to me that the device has two video outputs, but this is not the case.
And it was not like this when I had the camera working Just a single entry on Sub=01
I have a default motion.conf file. But I have tried changing to •videodevice = /dev/video1 from the default, but to no avail.
Because the when the camera worked there was one a single video out device recognised, I was thinking on the lines that I wanted to reset all back to defaults and start over...
I hope someone can advise.
Cheers
